About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Development Compliance Officer to join our Regulatory Services Program. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community by facilitating development outcomes and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a knowledge and understanding of the Building Rules and associated amendments, and relevant legislation.
  • Provide support to authorized officers by undertaking development inspections in the CBD and North Adelaide, under the supervision of a Development Compliance Officer.
  • Assist in implementing appropriate, timely responses to dangerous structures and emergency situations.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to all customers and assist members of the Building & Environmental Services Team.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Building Surveying or a similar field, with a strong understanding of the Building Rules and associated legislation.
