As a seasoned professional in the field of engineering, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet and exceed client expectations.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess a strong understanding of electronics, electrical, telecommunications, and information technology principles, as well as experience in system management and project coordination.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, manage, and implement corrections, enhancements, and upgrades on supported systems
  • Prepare system engineering, support, and maintenance documentation, policies, and standards
  • Develop proposals and estimates for system changes and improvements, and control system configurations
  • Support field maintenance staff in deploying system changes and resolving system issues
  • Participate in projects and lead the creation of project engineering artefacts

Requirements:

  • An Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, Information Technology or similar engineering degree, or certified equivalent international qualification, that provides eligibility for registration as a professional engineer under applicable state or territory legislation
  • PLC, SCADA RTU/Telemetry, IT/OT networking systems and protocols experience (Modbus, BACnet, SNMP) is essential
  • Demonstrated experience integrating legacy systems
  • Project Management, leading technical projects, and vendor performance management experience would be desirable
  • Experience in a highly regulated working environment is desirable
  • Good practical understanding of electronic and electrical circuits
  • Experience in providing system support, including investigation, management, and resolution of complex issues
  • A good understanding of computer networks and protocols, including RS232/422 interfaces
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to write high-quality technical and non-technical documents, reports, and procedures for a range of audiences
