The Opportunity

We're seeking a compassionate and empathetic caregiver to join our team in a rewarding role caring for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients in the Wyong and Tuggerah areas. As a caregiver with Australian Unity, you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families, while receiving ongoing training and support.

Requirements

  • A reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
  • 12+ months personal care experience required
  • Cert III in Individual Support will be highly regarded

Responsibilities

  • Perform Personal Care duties including showering, feeding, and toileting; assist in oral medication
  • Social support such as accompanying clients to doctor appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
