Job Title: Travel Operations Specialist The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert travel advice and support to ensure the smooth execution of domestic and international travel arrangements. This includes: 
  • Providing guidance on whole-of-government travel policies and procedures.
  • Managing travel data for monthly reports and ad-hoc projects.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date information on travel intranet pages.
  • Responding to travel-related queries via a shared inbox and helpdesk phone.
  • Assisting in the preparation of quarterly briefs and Questions on Notice.
  • Performing general administration tasks on internal and external systems.
 This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. To succeed in this role, you will need: 
  • A thorough understanding of whole-of-government travel service arrangements.
  • Experience working with expense management and finance management systems.
  • Proficiency in using travel management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
