Strategic Consultant Role

We are seeking an experienced strategic consultant to join our Deals Strategy team.

This is a hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne, allowing for a dynamic work environment that combines flexibility with collaboration.

  • Deliver strategic outcomes for clients through commercial due diligence, exit support, and portfolio company strategy.
  • Lead teams of consultants on projects, ensuring timely delivery of client requirements.
  • Facilitate client meetings, present findings that influence major investment decisions, and build trust-based relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate with EY-Parthenon and client teams to guide engagements and provide intellectual leadership.
  • Develop frameworks, research, and insights to shape strategies and drive growth.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and manage day-to-day project execution.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • A strong academic record and relevant degree.
  • 5-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, private equity, or corporate finance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and deliver complex projects.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborative, ethical, and adaptable approach.
