Job Overview

The System Maintenance Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of critical infrastructure. This position requires strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to build effective relationships across organisations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of OT systems, including network switches, PLCs, CCTV cameras, access control, passenger information equipment, radio, workstations, and servers.
  • Perform updates, upgrades, and installations of Operational Technology (OT) systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting of system faults, using technical expertise to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Configure and manage OT networks, optimising performance and security.
  • Audit client systems, providing recommendations for improvement and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills, including concise verbal and written reports, as well as active listening.
  • Proven ability to provide and receive feedback for personal and team growth.
  • Previous experience with OT systems, CCTV systems (Bosch/Genetec), Audio Systems, Radio Systems, and Network (Cisco).
  • Data and fibre cabling experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Customer-focused approach with excellent collaboration skills.
