Hydrocarbon Accounting and Sustainability Lead

A key role in driving sustainability, this position will lead the development, implementation, and management of environmental sustainability and emissions reduction strategies.

The Hydrocarbon Accounting and Sustainability Lead will oversee accurate, timely, and insightful reporting across measurement, allocations, and emissions performance. This includes ensuring governance controls are in place, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities, challenging the status quo, and embedding change.

Sustainability Reporting:

  • Coordinate the input of IG data and information into Origin's sustainability reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Lead a team that partners with business leaders to ensure the HCA framework delivers on regulatory, commercial, and strategic needs.
  • Oversee the delivery of accurate, timely, and insightful reporting across measurement, allocations, and emissions performance.

Emissions Reduction Strategy & Delivery:

  • Coordinate and influence decarbonisation strategy for IG across APLNG and Origin, including setting targets, aligning initiatives, and presenting to leadership committees.
  • Lead governance and reporting for decarbonisation activities, consolidating progress updates, risks, and milestones for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as the central point of contact for decarbonisation and emissions across IG, ensuring alignment of workstreams, supporting business case development, and enabling consistent reporting through established project delivery mechanisms.
