Key Responsibilities

This role involves providing evidence-based counselling and wellbeing support to clients with neurological conditions and their families, helping them navigate emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, and loss.

What You Can Expect

This role offers 45 hours per fortnight flexibility with days. Your primary base will be at our Rockingham Services Centre (sometimes at Mandurah) and potential home visits within 30 minutes surrounds.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum Bachelor of Counselling or Psychology - with Bachelor of Counselling, professional membership with PACFA or ACA or AHPRA, and at least three years post-qualification experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Requirements
  • A current Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • Experience in grief and loss, critical incident management, and supporting people with anxiety and depression.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for wellbeing and health promotion
  • A current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current First Aid & CPR (we can help you here if not)
  • Working with Children (or willingness to obtain)
