Job Title: Pipeline Developer

Job Description

Crafty Apes is a global company that specializes in visual effects and infrastructure development. We are currently looking for an experienced Pipeline Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipeline design, development, and maintenance, as well as expertise in tools like Python, Maya, Houdini, Nuke, and version control systems. The successful applicant will also be able to mentor junior staff and ensure seamless integration across DCC applications.

Key responsibilities include designing scalable pipeline solutions, leading tool implementation, resolving pipeline issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Pipeline TD in visual effects or a related industry
  • Expert proficiency in Python with a focus on writing clean, maintainable code
  • Strong knowledge of 3D tools with expertise in Maya (Houdini and Nuke experience is a plus)
  • Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and asset management systems
  • Hands-on experience with asset management systems such as ShotGrid/Flow
  • Familiarity with pipeline tools like Rez and Deadline
