Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to contribute to our cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess experience in designing, building, and supporting hybrid cloud infrastructure and services at scale.

About the Position:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities and optimize cloud resources.
  • Design, build, and maintain reusable components of software and infrastructure for our cloud platforms.
  • Develop and implement automated build and release pipelines for software services and infrastructure in the cloud.
  • Utilize infrastructure as code (Terraform or equivalent) and configuration management tools to build and manage cloud environments.
  • Continuously review and manage risks associated with our cloud infrastructure.
  • Assist with capacity planning and optimization of our growing AWS footprint.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, including OS, storage, and network problems.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, architecture, infrastructure, and automation tools.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to articulate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.
