Data Solutions Engineer

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain data assets on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Coordinate project requirements, schedules, and activities in team meetings, development, peer code reviews, and testing.
  • Create templates, implementation methods, standards, and frameworks while learning from senior developers.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise engineering in a mature cloud environment, preferably GCP.
  • Proven experience in building and deploying data lakes and data warehouses using services like BigQuery and Cloud Spanner.
  • Solid experience in authorizing complex SQL queries, CTEs, DDL, and performance optimizations.
  • Experience with real-time data streaming services and orchestrating data pipeline workflows.
  • Proficient in handling personally identifiable information (PII), data formatting, and wrangling, as well as data preparation.
  • Strong hands-on coding ability in Python, with experience in developing extract, transform, load (ETL)/extract, load, transform (ELT) data pipelines and performance-optimized data modeling.
