Quality Assurance Specialist

A quality assurance specialist is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company's quality control processes to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. This includes planning and executing external audits, scheduling internal audits, and providing data analysis to support ongoing improvement.

About the Role:

  • Oversee and maintain the company's quality control processes
  • Plan and execute external audits
  • Schedule internal audits
  • Provide weekly site NCR and customer complaints reporting
  • Analyze and provide data on NCRs and CARs to support departmental managers in achieving continual improvement
  • Advise and support departments on ongoing improvement and development of processes and service quality
  • Maintain site policies and procedures
  • Manage all audits for all sites as required

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Internal Auditing of Quality Systems or equivalent
  • Tertiary education in Quality Systems
  • Working knowledge of managing a ISO 9001:2015 quality system
  • Experience in Third Party Logistics or Freight Forwarding industries
  • Strong awareness of and exposure to WH&S requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire a team
  • Excellent communication skills and highly service-oriented
