Intensive Care Specialist Trainee

The NSW Government is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intensive Care Specialist Trainee to join our team at South East Regional Hospital. As a key member of our ICU team, you will work closely with experienced clinicians to provide high-quality patient care and develop your expertise in intensive care medicine.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of critically ill patients, including those requiring resuscitation and/or management in an intensive care unit.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and maintain expertise in medical practice, including the management of deteriorating and seriously ill patients.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge in intensive care medicine.
Requirements
- Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role.
- Adept ability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Adept ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment.
- Adept verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
