The Role

The Manager/Senior Manager, Payment Partner Risk sits within Airwallex's second-line Risk team, serving as the subject matter expert on financial partner and card scheme rules and requirements. This role requires providing cross-functional guidance on financial partner requirements and helping to quickly evaluate new sales prospects or products.

This position involves a balanced approach to achieving business objectives within risk appetite. You will collaborate with stakeholders to advise on financial partner requirements, establish and enforce Airwallex's acceptable use policy, and provide expert guidance on card scheme rules for major international card scheme partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Cross-functional collaboration to advise on financial partner requirements and help establish and enforce Airwallex's acceptable use policy.
  • Serving as an expert in card scheme rules for major international card scheme partners.
  • Defining restricted and prohibited business lists.
  • Providing guidance on financial partner requirements to first-line teams and assisting them in exploring and understanding time-sensitive business opportunities.
  • Assisting in driving product or process changes to monitor and mitigate payment partner risks.
  • Creating guidelines, checklists, and other support materials for Sales teams to quickly evaluate new prospects in terms of scheme compliance and partner requirements.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and a dynamic work environment.

This role can be based in Singapore, Hong Kong, or Australia, offering opportunities for growth and professional development.
