Environmental Professionals are sought after to assist in conducting environmental assessments, compliance reviews and remediation strategies for contaminated land projects.
- The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and review of environmental site assessments, audit reports and remediation strategies.
- They will gather, analyse and interpret environmental data ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Support the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation.
- Liaise with project teams, regulators and stakeholders to facilitate effective environmental audits.
- Conduct site visits to assist in audits, field inspections and sampling activities.
- Stay updated on local and national contaminated land regulations and guidelines.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or a related field is essential.
- At least 2 years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation or environmental auditing is preferred.
- Familiarity with Australian contaminated land regulations, guidelines and risk assessment frameworks is beneficial.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills with attention to detail are required.
- Experience with environmental data analysis and GIS software is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team is vital.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required is essential.
