Job Title: Environmental Sustainability Specialist

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Environmental Sustainability Specialist. As a key member of our environmental and health business unit, you will play a vital role in developing innovative solutions that help increase liveability by reducing pollution and restoring natural environments.

The successful candidate will assist in reviewing environmental site assessments, risk assessments, remediation action plans, validation reports, and environmental management plans. You will also analyse and interpret environmental data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in reviewing environmental site assessments, risk assessments, remediation action plans, validation reports, and environmental management plans.
  • Analyse and interpret environmental data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare audit comments and deliverables (Interim Audit Advice and Site Audit Statement/Report).
  • Support the contaminated land audit process by compiling and organising documentation.
  • Liaise with project teams, regulators, and stakeholders to facilitate effective environmental audits.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in contaminated land assessment, site remediation, or environmental auditing. Strong analytical and report-writing skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
