Childcare Leader

This role requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual to lead our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children, in line with the National Quality Standards and My Time, Our Place Framework.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction to the OSHC team, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children;
  • Develop and implement programs that promote learning and development for children;
  • Maintain open communication with parents and staff, ensuring transparency and collaboration;
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that align with the College's values and standards;
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards;
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed;
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of services;

Requirements:

  • Relevant diploma-level qualification with experience in childcare or education;
  • Current First Aid certification;
  • Working With Children Check clearance;
  • Food Safety Supervisor training;
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with staff, students, and parents;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities;
