We are seeking a skilled Fitter General to join the team at Seville Tractors Pty Ltd, located in the heart of the Yarra Valley. As a Fitter General, you will be responsible for maintaining diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Fault finding, repairs and services including diesel and petrol engines, fuel systems, steering systems, transmissions, brake systems, hydraulic valves and cylinders, electrical starting, charging and accessories, and service and diagnostic repairs.
  • Liaising with the spare parts team to determine parts required for repairs.
  • Completing repair and services within reasonable time frames.
  • Processing workshop service/repair documentation on a daily basis.
  • Working in a safe manner, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and complying with Occupational Safety and Health (OS&H) legislation.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal relationship and customer-focused skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Warm personality and open-minded attitude.
  • Self-motivated and hard-working individual.
  • Good technical background experience.
  • Solid analysing and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical problems.
  • Good team spirit and experience working in a small team is an advantage.
