Key Responsibilities

The role of Senior Business Intelligence Analyst involves working with healthcare data sets to build reports and visualisations that inform decision making and health service planning.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop interactive dashboards using Qlik and/or Power BI for stakeholders to make informed decisions.
  • Interpret and present data results, providing recommendations to inform policy advice and development.
  • Extract and manipulate healthcare and funding data from complex multisystem architecture.
  • Apply sound data management principles in handling data.
About the Ideal Candidate
  • Advanced skills in business intelligence and data analysis, with experience working with health-related activity and funding data.
  • Proficient in Qlik, Power BI, and related querying languages such as SQL, SAS, and Python.
  • Able to work with multiple data sets and support stakeholders in interpreting data.
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Healthcare System and Health information Systems.
