Job Description:

As a senior intelligence analyst, you will be responsible for driving strategic and operational services for an intelligence-led service delivery model. Your primary focus will be on supporting the RC&E function of Transport and Main Roads.

  • Leading and managing intelligence activities to prepare and disseminate valid, relevant, comprehensive, timely, and defensible intelligence products that inform evidence-based decisions and policy development.
  • Developing intelligence insights to assist RC&E in intelligence-led risk management, compliance, and enforcement, as well as support policy and investigations work programs.
  • Providing expert analysis, forecasting, reporting, briefs, and advice on potential compliance issues, enforcement data, and data-driven analysis trends to comply with relevant legislation.
  • Coordinating and managing the analysis and development of operational and strategic intelligence assessments and advice on industry and/or community behaviors that will pre-position RC&E to respond to emerging issues and compliance trends.
  • Developing high-level operational yet strategic intelligence and analytical reports, undertaking strategic assessments with related trends on the direction of RC&E, and recommending actions to support RC&E achieve its strategic objectives.
