The Legislative Compliance Officer will play a critical role in ensuring Mercy Aged and Community Care Ltd's compliance with legislative obligations across our Health and Aged care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the organization is aware of and complies with relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement compliance programs to mitigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
- Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance matters.
- Monitor and report on compliance metrics and trends.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in law or a related field.
- Relevant experience in the health and/or aged care sectors.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
