Professor of Rheumatology

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Rheumatology to contribute to the teaching and research in the Specialty of Rheumatology, Sydney Medical School.
Key Responsibilities- Providing leadership in developing and maintaining a clinical, translational or basic science research program relevant to Rheumatology is a key responsibility.
- Leading the development, implementation and promotion of clinical/education programs for MD students relating to Rheumatology is also crucial.
- PhD in a field relevant to Rheumatology
- Registered as a medical practitioner in NSW with recognition by AHPRA as a Specialist Rheumatologist
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Physicians, or equivalent
The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership in developing and maintaining a clinical, translational or basic science research program relevant to Rheumatology, lead the development, implementation and promotion of clinical/education programs for MD students relating to Rheumatology, and promote a culture that is collaborative, team-oriented and one that respects the skill sets and opinions of all staff.
