Senior Data Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Data Engineering Professional to spearhead the modernization of our data platform.

Job Description:

This role involves leading the migration of critical data workloads from legacy systems to Snowflake, refactoring legacy views and stored procedures into dbt models, and optimizing existing Snowflake infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build new data products for emerging business needs
  • Implement modern data modeling approaches for scalable and maintainable self-service data products
  • Create reusable patterns and frameworks that accelerate development capability and scale across the team

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in data engineering, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills. They should also be proficient in SQL, modern data stacks (Snowflake and dbt), and Python programming for data pipelines and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in a data engineering role at a senior level
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, together with exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Strong SQL and modern data stack experience (Snowflake and dbt)
  • Proficiency with Fivetran ETL tool and Python programming for data pipelines and automation
