Analytics Lead Role Overview

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and lead high-impact analytics projects, driving strategic decision-making across the organization.

The Analytics Lead will be responsible for developing analytical models, performing deep dives, and converting data into actionable insights. They will also support executives and decision-makers by using data in a simple and effective way, with storytelling and data visualization skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead high-impact analytics projects to support improved decision-making for senior leaders.
  • Generate pan-organization insights by combining multiple data sources to aid in strategically important decisions.
  • Work on projects with Senior Analysts; develop a strong understanding of customer and business needs across contexts and geographies.
Requirements
  • 8+ years or more experience in analytics or SaaS in a stakeholder-facing role or as a technical practitioner.
  • Proven ability to lead analytics projects from end-to-end.
  • Experience coaching team members to improve communication, storytelling, and technical capability.
  • Experience delivering analytics via interactive dashboards; applying advanced analytics techniques and statistical methodologies.
  • Leadership experience and professional maturity with the ability to drive outcomes within an organization.
  • Demonstrated experience innovating with data and analytics to create value; commercial mindset and understanding of SaaS business models.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills; ability to influence varied stakeholders (non-technical and technical).
  • Passion for improving end-to-end customer experiences and ROI; ability to unravel complexity to get to root answers; capable of capturing and interpreting business requirements; ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.

Tech Skills
  • Highly proficient in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Comfortable working with complex and diverse datasets.
  • Proficiency in Tableau and other modern BI tools.
  • Experience with statistical approaches to analysis; experience with statistical languages such as Python is beneficial.
  • Ability to establish reporting frameworks.
