About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our east coast operations, you will play a vital role in the delivery of our Defence asset upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain accurate project schedules and programs to ensure timely completion
  • Evaluate and mitigate the impact of changes on project timelines, including critical path analysis and extension of time entitlements
  • Communicate project planning issues and critical program concerns to project teams and management
  • Assess and improve delivery methodologies and sequencing to enhance project efficiency
  • Review and optimize construction proposals to maximize resource utilization
  • Collaborate with Estimators, Bid Coordinators, Bid Writers, and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution

About You

  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Word
  • Experience in tender preparation, project planning, schedule development, and progress reporting for construction, civil infrastructure, and remediation projects
  • Able to extract detailed information from construction drawings and Statements of Work to construct detailed programs
  • Ability to identify resource requirements and derive and build EOT claims
  • Effective communication style with the ability to revise, forecast, and estimate project activities through liaison with project teams
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
