As a Senior Cost Estimator and Planner at Turner & Townsend, you will play a crucial role in supporting Defence projects in Sydney and beyond. This exciting opportunity calls for a skilled professional with expertise in cost management, estimation, and planning.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cost Manager / Assistant Cost Manager who holds defence clearance or Australian citizenship to join our team. Your primary responsibilities will include providing support to senior cost managers across various aspects of projects, such as:

  • Cost estimates and quantity take-off
  • Value engineering, tendering, and evaluation
  • Progress claims and variation assessments
  • Final account close-out

You will also be responsible for estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan report. To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • At least 2-3 years of post-graduate experience in cost management
  • Membership or pathway to membership with AIQS or RICS
  • Experience with CostX is preferred
