We are seeking a skilled and passionate Community Development professional to lead the delivery of our community development strategy across Tasmania.
This role is central to how we engage with communities, build meaningful partnerships, and create opportunities for economic and social participation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing community development programs, with experience in project management, partnership building, and grant writing.
- Develop and implement community development strategies that align with organisational goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government, community organisations, research bodies, and private sector stakeholders
- Design and deliver major projects and programs focused on community building, economic participation, and social enterprise
Around five years' experience in developing and implementing community development programs, as well as strong project management experience - including design, development, implementation, and coordination, would be highly regarded.
Knowledge of the social enterprise sector, experience in the social or community housing industry, and a proven ability to build strategic partnerships with external organisations are also essential.
