Job Description:

The role involves contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of parks, sportsfields, open spaces, and recreational areas.

You will carry out operational tasks and activities that help the team meet its performance targets and service commitments.

This position is ideal for someone who is community-focused, takes pride in outdoor work, and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key responsibilities include working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of services that benefit the local community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant horticultural qualification or equivalent industry experience in parks and sportsfields operations
  • Good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to learn to use field devices (eg. tablets) for managing daily team work plans
  • Understanding and commitment to equal employment opportunities, diversity, work health and safety, ethical practice and acting with probity at all times
  • Class C Motor Vehicle Driver's Licence
  • Suitable level of fitness to perform the inherent duties of the position
