About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our TPS Operations Division. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing Quality frameworks to establish a robust defect detection, containment, and recurrence prevention framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visualise and report the overall Quality performance of the production facility.
  • Facilitate stakeholder involvement through effective identification of defect occurrence hotspots and assignment of recurrence prevention activities.
  • Deep recurrence prevention analysis and implement countermeasures to strengthen the Quality Assurance process.
  • Support QC leadership to implement Kaizen opportunities, while maintaining Safety, Quality, and Productivity targets.
  • Support QC leadership in managing assigned area through FMDS visual control and generate Kaizen opportunities.
  • Manage Kaizen project budgets and schedules in line with divisional targets.
  • Support changepoint management through timely action of changepoint requests.
  • Participate in scheduling and planning activities for projects.
  • Monitor and analyse performance against targets for own area and recommends countermeasures where required.
Requirements
  • Degree qualification in engineering.
  • 4+ years' of accumulative engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance systems and/or Toyota Production System (TPS).
  • Familiar with vehicle operation and systems, assembly methods, and quality requirements.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
  • Excellent communication skills & the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders to influence & implement change.
