Hotel Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

The Role:

  • This is a hands-on role which involves carrying out ad hoc repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple properties.
  • You will be responsible for monitoring and inspecting the conditions of workspaces and equipment, ensuring to report on any areas where improvements are required.
  • Your additional tasks will include preventative maintenance and operation testing.
  • You will work in a professional and safe manner, adhering to relevant standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out ad hoc repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Monitor and inspect the conditions of workspaces and equipment.
  • Report on areas where improvements are required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and operation testing.
  • Work in a professional and safe manner, adhering to relevant standards and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Established experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Possess a personable demeanor with natural ability to interact with guests.
  • Dedicated work ethic, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong multi-modal communication skills, including verbal, reading and written.
  • Competency in working both collaboratively and independently.
  • Technically minded, with confidence working with computers and systems.
  • Creative and adaptive problem-solving skills and ability to manage deadlines.
  • Full working rights in Australia with availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends.
