About the Role
Onsite Rentals, a leading national specialist equipment hire business, is seeking a motivated and capable Account Manager to join our team in a dynamic sales environment.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing customer relationships, identifying and converting new sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow the existing customer base
- Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans
- Conduct regular sales calls to increase awareness of Onsite Rentals' product range and establish yourself as the lead point of contact
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers, attending industry events and conferences
- Prepare quotes for hire and support tender submissions
- Communicate effectively with the branch team to support sales activity and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
- Maintain accurate client data in the CRM system
Requirements
- Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry
- Ability and willingness to conduct sales calls, in person and by phone
- Record of success in attracting and retaining new business
- Capacity to work safely and autonomously in the field
- Resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship building skills
