Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in providing strategic and operational leadership of a music-focused organisation, with an understanding of the academic context of the University of Tasmania Conservatorium of Music.
- A strong vision and practical capability to deliver high-quality, distinctive, and sustainable music education, including innovative leadership in designing and delivering a compelling Bachelor of Music.
- Leadership anchored in a national profile in Music, with successful collaboration, facility to secure external funding, and sound financial and resource management capabilities.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks relevant to higher education, research, and risk management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders to enhance the Academic Unit's profile and impact.
