About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at Mojo Recruit. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our high-end residential projects are accurately priced.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for formwork, concrete, and steel fixing services.
  • Quoting Process: Manage the quoting process from preparation to submission.
  • Take-Off Software: Utilize take-off software to accurately quantify materials and labour needs.
  • Cost Analysis: Analyze project plans and specifications to determine scope of work and project requirements.
  • Budgeting: Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and company goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of estimates and quote submissions in the system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure clear communication and successful outcomes.
  • Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and labour rates to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Estimator who is proficient in take-off software, estimation software, and Microsoft Office. You should have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and cost estimation techniques. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills are essential, as well as strong communication and negotiation skills.

You should be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about construction and cost estimation, we would love to hear from you.
