Job Description

The Taxation Support Analyst role involves delivering exceptional support in tax-related matters.

  • Assisting in the preparation and assurance of platform processes and data required to complete client annual tax reporting.
  • Addressing complex tax issues for Australian Operations, including tax-related matters for assets held in global markets.
  • Recording tax events on the platform against client accounts with accuracy.
  • Supporting reviews of procedures and controls for roles within the tax team to enhance efficiency.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding tax matters and providing timely updates.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Accounting, Finance or Economics) to provide a solid foundation.
  • At least 5 years' experience in financial services, preferably in a tax team, to bring valuable expertise.
  • An in-depth understanding of Australian tax legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) to streamline tasks.
