Salary Package

A highly competitive salary is on offer, estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, you can increase your pay through Salary Packaging options.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Employment Coach to join our team in Narre Warren. As an Employment Coach, you will actively engage with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills, and achieve their employment goals.

  • Provide one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalised action plans.
  • Conduct career assessments and help clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Use sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Refer participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills, including well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and case notes and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
