We are passionate about empowering individuals to reach their career goals, and we're looking for a skilled Employment Coach to join our team in Narre Warren

Job Description:

As an Employment Coach, you will actively engage with participants to overcome career challenges, develop essential skills, and achieve their employment goals. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one coaching sessions to participants, assessing their career needs, and creating personalised action plans.
  • Conducting career assessments and helping clients identify their strengths, interests, and values to guide their employment goals.
  • Using sales strategies to work collaboratively and network with community organisations to create opportunities for participants.
  • Assisting participants in developing effective job search strategies, including resume writing and interview preparation.
  • Referring participants through training, counselling, and other services to increase long-term employment outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in customer service, client-facing or an administrative role.
  • Time management, organisational skills, and the ability to plan and prioritise to achieve outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with well-developed verbal and written skills, and the ability to conduct client assessments, develop case plans, and case notes and reports.
  • Interpersonal conflict resolution and negotiation skills, along with the ability to identify innovative and lateral solutions to problems.
  • Ability to develop relationships with employers and relevant stakeholders.
  • Excellent computer skills.
