At our city, we're looking for a dynamic Festivals and Events Coordinator to join our team. As part of our award-winning events program, you'll be working on various community and council events across the municipality.

This is an exciting opportunity to utilize your event planning and development skills, while also building strong relationships with stakeholders. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines to deliver successful events.

You'll have demonstrated experience in understanding all mechanisms of event planning and development, including policy changes and stakeholder engagement. This role requires flexibility, including working some weekends and evenings on events.

About this role
  • Plan, coordinate, promote, deliver, and evaluate council-led festivals and events.
  • Provide support and advice to community, corporate, government agencies, and internal departments in festival and event planning and delivery.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure responsive service to the community.
