Optometry Educator Role

We seek a highly skilled Optometry educator to deliver clinical learning experiences and contribute to the growth of our program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Integrate evidence-based industry practice into teaching, promoting student engagement and academic excellence.
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of ongoing innovation in curriculum design, fostering continuous improvement and quality education.
  • Deliver effective teaching practices tailored to specific units, ensuring students achieve learning outcomes.
  • Provide clear assessment criteria and timely feedback to learners, facilitating their progress and achievement of skills.
  • Undertake administrative duties as required to support the efficient operation of the Optometry program.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Optometry Board of Australia, enabling the practice of optometry in Australia.

  • An excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design, showcasing your ability to innovate and improve educational processes.
