- Develop engaging and effective learning materials for units.
- Apply clinical practice management expertise to enrich student learning experiences.
- Promote high-quality teaching practices within units and suggest approaches to innovate teaching methods.
- Lead the delivery of optometric practice and business management units.
- Provide administrative support to the Collaborative Eye Care Clinic.
- Offer academic support to students and contribute to improving student support services.
- Design assessment tasks and rubrics at unit level and provide timely feedback to learners.
Key Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Optometry, or related area.
- Proven ability to teach in a university environment and possess business management experience.
- Record of scholarly learning and teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs.
- Demonstrated leadership capacity and passion for teaching and administration.
- Ability to work collaboratively with partners at the university, government, external organizations, and professional bodies.
