Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join our team at the Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level strategic, operational and reporting requirements of the centre.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team.
  • Develop, implement and maintain effective operational systems, governance frameworks and compliance mechanisms.
  • Shape governance structures that support effective decision-making and ensure alignment with policies and regulations.
  • Evaluate policies, programs and initiatives to advance the centre's objectives.
  • Oversight performance, workforce planning and capability development.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in program management, strategic operations or a related field.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder programs or initiatives within a higher education or research environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, policy development and governance.
  • Extensive experience in managing relationships with senior stakeholders.
