About the Role

AECOM is seeking an experienced Renewable Energy Project Manager to join our Energy Team in Brisbane. As an Owners Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of some of Queensland's most iconic energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize your extensive renewables experience to act as Project Director/Project Lead on several energy projects from pre-construction through to operations, across Australia.
  • Ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
  • Manage a team of engineers, assisting them with their professional development.
  • Act as a key-client interface and assist the broader team with the writing of proposals, development of bids, and overall strategic growth of the renewable business.
  • Work collaboratively and effectively with the broader team and with other engineers as you deliver multi-disciplinary projects within the renewable energy space.

Requirements

  • Relevant Engineering Degree (mechanical, electrical, civil, or similar) with extensive renewable energy project management experience.
  • Ideal 10+ years' experience as a Project Manager or Owners Engineer, for an engineering consultancy, client-side, or a developer.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian Standards and codes.
  • Track record of being in a client-facing role, developing business alongside managing a team.
  • A passion for being a leader in the renewable energy market, with a track record of leading project management and owner's engineer services.
