Our Trainee Program

The Trainee Program provides 4 weeks'intensive training in workers' compensation case management. During this time, you'll learn about:

  • Claim Life Cycle Management
  • Medical Treatment Types and Management
  • Payment of Medical Expenses
  • Weekly Compensation Entitlements
  • Return to Work Obligations and Strategies
  • The Legal Side of Workers' Compensation
  • Conflict Resolution and Effective Communication

Throughout your first 12 months', you'll receive further training to expand your knowledge of workplace injury management, return to work planning, dispute resolution, and workers' compensation law.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle high volumes of client inquiries
  • Previous medical administration experience or background in customer service an advantage
  • Ability to work concurrently across multiple technology platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Emotional intelligence and sensitivity to individual needs
