Job Overview:

Adelaide Convention Centre is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to oversee the successful delivery of events.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for floor operations, team member performance, event set-up, and venue presentation to meet client expectations and service standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Event Management: Ensure impeccable venue presentation and set-up in line with client specifications.
  • Client Liaison: Coordinate with clients to ensure all event requirements are met and complete Event Guarantees.
  • Team Member Supervision: Lead and mentor event floor staff on safety protocols and excellent service delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular spot-checks to maintain venue presentation, quality of service, and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Financial Administration: Accurately document events, manage team member time sheets, and control inventory.
  • Staff Development: Promote a positive work environment, assist with staff development, and ensure comprehensive training.
  • Process Enhancement: Participate in event planning and provide feedback to improve processes and enhance event operations.
