Event Chef Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Chef to join our team. This role will support the delivery of high-quality, creative menus across a diverse range of private and corporate events.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned chef to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, be able to work autonomously and thrive in a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of high-quality, creative menus across a diverse range of private and corporate events.
  • Assist in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the events team to ensure seamless event execution.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial kitchens, including functions or banquets.
  • Previous experience as a strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous preferred.
  • Management or leadership experience preferred.
  • Able to work autonomously and thrive in a small team environment.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Passionate about food, creativity, and working in a fast-paced events environment.
  • Understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.

Candidates must have full working rights in Australia.
