About the Role: We are seeking passionate chefs to join our dynamic culinary team. You will work alongside the Sous Chef to manage kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain impeccable hygiene standards across the kitchen.
  • Train and develop junior kitchen staff to foster excellence.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to meet diverse client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations during busy periods and events.
  • Contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy hotel environment with opportunities for career growth.

Skills & Experience:

  • Trade qualifications (Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery) are essential.
  • 2-3 years' experience in fast-paced kitchens.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for excellence.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff.
  • Understanding of food costs, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Legal right to work in Australia; sponsorship available if residing in Australia.
