About the Role

This Senior Manager position is a key leadership role that requires a strategic and highly skilled individual with a proven track record in cyber security and resilience.

You will be responsible for leading the Cyber Security and Resilience team to drive strategic priorities, build a collaborative culture, and ensure team performance aligns with SA Water's business goals.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in cyber leadership roles managing complex and diverse cyber security and resilience functions.

They will also possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to negotiate outcomes and work with senior leaders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of cyber security strategies, policies, and risk management processes.
  • Safeguard SA Water's critical information and technology assets by developing systems and processes for risk management, monitoring threats, and providing specialist advice on security implementation.
  • Work with external stakeholders to mature and improve our cyber security maturity and profile.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science, or Business Management.
  • Strong knowledge of laws, policies, and standards applicable to information and cyber security for critical infrastructure providers.

Evaluation Criteria:

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain Cyber Security Management Systems in complex organisations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to negotiate outcomes and work with senior leaders across the organisation.

A successful candidate will need Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) security clearance.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
