About the Role

This position is based at Prominent Hill, located in South Australia. You will work collaboratively towards achieving exceptional outcomes, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and servicing of mobile fleet and other equipment as per established guidelines.
  • Deliver high-standard maintenance services including general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM systems, and computer-based platforms.
  • Adhere to stringent housekeeping standards and carry out pre-start checks to ensure optimal performance.
About You
  • Trade qualification in Heavy Duty Diesel Fitting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years post-trade experience with a strong focus on hands-on skills.
  • At least 2 years' experience in mining operations with exposure to team leadership and supervision.
  • Proven expertise in general maintenance, breakdowns, component change outs, and servicing of CAT and Hitachi mobile equipment.
  • Experience with vehicle air conditioning systems (desired).
  • Hold a High Risk Fork Lift and Dogging ticket (advantageous).
  • Demonstrate unwavering commitment to health and safety protocols at all times.
