Student Support Specialist

The role of a Student Support Specialist is crucial in providing students with the assistance they need to achieve their academic goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for students and handling inquiries professionally
  • Managing front office operations including visitor registration, appointments, and student queries
  • Maintaining records of student attendance, appointments, and general inquiries
  • Ensuring the reception area is neat and tidy at all times
  • Processing new student enrolments
  • Providing guidance to prospective and current students on academic programs, admission requirements, and career pathways
  • Assessing new enrolments, confirming student details, and issuing offer letters
  • Updating records in student management systems and maintaining close relations with assigned agents

You will also be responsible for ongoing communication with agents, monitoring student attendance, carrying out tasks assigned by management, and maintaining documentation.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a customer service orientation, the ability to handle sensitive information, organisational and multitasking skills, and proficiency in MS Office and student management systems.
