Legal Compliance Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Compliance Officer for Digital Assets to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer and leverage your legal expertise to oversee the digital token listing and evaluation process across our organization. You will also provide support to our Compliance teams as necessary.


Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Evaluating digital tokens in line with internal policies and risk tolerance, coordinating with external legal advisors as needed.
  • Regularly assessing the compliance of listed tokens on exchanges to ensure adherence to local regulations.
  • Drafting documents for Board and Risk Committee meetings.
  • Supporting the compliance team on key strategic initiatives.


About you:
  • A diploma or degree in Legal Studies, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a legal or compliance capacity, ideally within the Financial Services or Cryptocurrency sectors.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities with a knack for promptly identifying and addressing legal and compliance challenges. You should be capable of managing your time and priorities effectively under the guidance of your supervisor.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and the ability to exercise sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.

Preferred qualifications:
  • A university-level qualification in financial services or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in banking or financial services with a strong emphasis on compliance.
  • Previous involvement in the cryptocurrency sector.
