Wellbeing Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Manager to join our team at WorkSafe Victoria. As a key member of our People and Culture team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the wellbeing of our employees and driving a culture of safety and excellence within our organisation.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive wellbeing strategy that aligns with WorkSafe's vision and goals.
- Lead the design and delivery of wellbeing programs and initiatives that promote employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to identify and address wellbeing needs and opportunities.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to employees to help them manage work-related stress and improve their overall wellbeing.
- Manage and oversee the wellbeing budget, ensuring effective use of resources and achieving desired outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with external suppliers and partners to deliver high-quality wellbeing services and solutions.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of wellbeing activities, initiatives, and outcomes, in accordance with WorkSafe's policies and procedures.
- A tertiary health qualification and relevant experience in an occupational health role.
- Proven ability to lead projects and articulate well-designed and planned initiatives, guiding direct and indirect reports, influencing their wellbeing and producing outcomes consistent with intended plans.
- Experience designing an effective wellbeing framework incorporating key elements of need in the operational work environment, such as mental wellbeing, physical ability, and adaptation.
- Capability to provide quality reports that communicate wellbeing issues pertaining to the culture, operation, and strategy, contributing to the planning and decision-making processes for People and Culture and within other business units.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, facilitation, and persuasion skills to influence decision-makers and gain their support in the implementation of organisational wellbeing initiatives.
- Leadership experience, with a strong reputation of being a professional leader, consistently displaying integrity, courage, respect for self and others, and striving for excellence.
- Ability to work autonomously and actively collaborate with peers and suppliers for the development, delivery, and implementation of learning initiatives and team-based wellbeing projects.
